Calendar According to Bylaws
According to the Chico Friends of the Library bylaws and standing rules, this is the suggested business calendar.
| July 1 | Fiscal year begins. |
| July 1 | Newly elected officers and directors begin their 2-year terms. |
| July | Board decides disposition of prior year's interest in endowment funds. |
| August | Annual Financial Report published and distributed to all members (in the Carrel). |
| February 28 | Membership dues are due. |
| Spring | Notice of Annual Meeting sent 10-90 days before the event. |
| Spring | Official membership count taken on day before sending the Annual Meeting notice. |
| Spring (May) | Annual Meeting |
| June 30 | Fiscal year ends. |
