The October “First Friday” book sale for CFOL members only will take place Friday, October 6 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.\u00a0 Join your fellow CFOL members in a leisurely browse of the many books and other materials offered at very economical prices.<\/p>\n
Regular book sales open to the general public will resume on Saturday, October 7 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the library’s meeting room. \u00a0Books are also available for sale in the library’s lobby whenever the library is open. \u00a0There are no better bargains for book lovers.<\/p>\n
SUNDAY MOVIES<\/p>\n
On each\u00a0Sunday afternoon the Chico branch library will show family-friendly movies at 2:00 p.m. in the library’s meeting room. \u00a0These are free and open to the public. \u00a0 Your CFOL has provided the funding for a license for these showings. \u00a0Even though the intense heat of summer has\u00a0transitioned to perfect autumn days, enjoy an\u00a0entertaining afternoon movie alongside friends, neighbors, and other library patrons on October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 courtesy of CFOL.<\/p>\n
