Paula Poundstone, 2010
Paula Poundstone entertained a large crowd at CSU's Laxson Auditorium. She is the spokeswoman for the Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations, and she did not disappoint the Chico Friends of the Library. She spoke in a favorable and funny way about why it's a no brainer to support your library.

Casey (sp?), left, was a helpful CSU student who handled the credit card transactions, did the post-event accounting, and helped setup the table. Joan McDowell, center, and Ann Elliott, right, celebrated the end of the evening. These two and several others worked hard to make the event a success.
