SEPTEMBER BOOK SALES<\/strong><\/p>\n

All Butte County libraries will be closed on Saturday, September 5th, so our hardworking book sale volunteers will enjoy an uninterrupted Labor Day holiday weekend.\u00a0 There will \u00a0be no book sales on Friday, September 4, or\u00a0Saturday, September 5. \u00a0Book sales will resume on the following weekend, with the usual “First Friday” sale for CFOL members being held on Friday, September 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and the regular Saturday sale on September 12.<\/p>\n

Honey Run Covered Bridge<\/p><\/div>\n

September 27 marks the date of a fundraiser for the Chico library. \u00a0A Bridge\u00a0for Books<\/strong><\/em> will be held at the Honey Run Covered Bridge\u00a0at 1670 Honey Run Road at Centerville Road in Chico. \u00a0This historic bridge, built in 1886 and covered in 1894, will be the venue for musical entertainment\u00a0from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. \u00a0Tickets are available at $10 each. \u00a0For more information call 530-762-9385<\/a>, or email contactus@<\/wbr>honeyruncoveredbridge.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n
