How Can I Help?

Chico Friends of the Library needs help in the following areas and recognizes the hard work of its many volunteers.
Every time a volunteer passes a 100-hour increment in service, his/her name is published in the CFOL newsletter.
Volunteers achieving a 500-hour increment are honored at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Lunch.

Book Sales

Buy books from us.

We conduct a book sale every Saturday, 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Chico Library meeting room. On holiday weekends, when the library is closed, the book sale is postponed.

There is a special benefit for CFOL members: Every first Friday of the month, 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., a preview sale is held.  If you are not a member, you can join at the sale.

All proceeds support the library.
