The Chico Friends of the Library group is an active and integral partner of the Chico Branch of the Butte County Library. We are an association of persons interested in promoting the services and providing for the needs of the Chico public library.
Our weekly book sale is our main fundraiser. See below for details of the book sale.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving ...

The Chico Friends of the Library conducts a book sale every Saturday morning, 9am - 11:30am, in the Chico Branch library meeting room. On holiday weekends, when the library is closed, then the book sale will be postponed until the next Saturday.
Your time keeps the library open. We need you.
Volunteers generate library contributions. For every 100 hours that volunteers work in the library, the Chico Friends of the Library will donate $25. That adds up when a typical quarter sees over 8,000 volunteer hours worked.
