A Word Cloud - Benefits of Membership

This is a word cloud of CFOL member characteristics.

Become a member!  Renew your membership!

Chico Friends of the Library is a nonprofit group.  Your membership dues and donations are tax deductable.  February is Love your Library month, during which we ask members to renew their membership.  Your membership goes 100% to library support.  We have no salaried employees so we use donations to buy books, movies, eBooks, and movies.  We pay for children's programs, family movies, teen and adult programs.  We buy library equipment and help pay for library remodel projects.

Renew or become a CFOL member to support your library.

Who We Are

We are an organization of volunteers dedicated to supporting the Chico branch of the Butte County Library. We are committed to making our library a place where families and community members can learn and grow.

Book Sales

We have a book sale every Saturday from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Chico Library meeting room. There are no book sales on holiday weekends when the library is closed. All proceeds support the library.

Volunteer

Your time keeps the library open. We need you.

For every 100 volunteer hours, Chico Friends of the Library will donate $25 to the library. That adds up when a typical quarter sees over 8,000 volunteer hours worked.
