It is time to show your love for the Chico Branch of the Butte County Library. CFOL continues to purchase books, magazines, DVDs, audio books, e-books and much, much more for the branch with your donations and book sale proceeds.
In the past few years, we received wonderful donations from the broader Chico community through the Annie B's Campaign of North Valley Community Foundation. This year that program was discontinued with no replacement, so we are hoping that you donate generously and encourage other Library lovers to do the same to make up for that deficit.
Remember that with membership comes our newsletter The Carrel and admittance to our "Members Only" book sale on the first Friday of the month. Members who provide us with an email address get monthly updates on current happenings at the library. There are membership envelopes placed conveniently around the library. You may drop the envelope at the library or send your membership to

You may also donate online on our membership page.
We are an organization of volunteers dedicated to supporting the Chico branch of the Butte County Library. We are committed to making our library a place where families and community members can learn and grow.
We have a book sale every Saturday from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Chico Library meeting room. There are no book sales on holiday weekends when the library is closed. All proceeds support the library.
Your time keeps the library open. We need you.
For every 100 volunteer hours, Chico Friends of the Library will donate $25 to the library. That adds up when a typical quarter sees over 8,000 volunteer hours worked.
